On 30th April 2011 the grand ballroom of the ARCOTEL Wimberger Vienna will be the venue for the first vintager ball. On Saturday, the 30th April, beginning from 7.00 p.m. wine enthusiasts enjoy the best juices of the grape of Austria. 14 vintagers and vineyards will be presenting their most precious drops at the first ball of the Austrian wine: Attending will be among others the vineyards Wellanschitz, Artner, Dockner, Krug and Schauer, together with popular vinetagers as Franz Weninger and Willi Opitz.
Passionate hostsAnother highlight ist he specifically for the event created "Winzerball Brut Sélection" of the Styrian champagne producer Kleinoscheg. The food and a seven course menu will be provided by the team of ARCOTEL Wimberger at the restaurant WIMBERGERs wia z'Haus. "We are proud to be host and organizer of the first vintager ball in Austria and will turn this evening regarding wine and culinary art into something very special." says the General Manager of ARCOTEL Wimberger Vienna, Hubert Schiefer.
Enjoyment is programmeSinger and moderator Andy Marek, in all respects known as the voice of "Hütteldorf", will be hosting the evening. Responsible for the musical entertainment are Prof. Wolfgang Steubl and his orchestra, as well as the folk and Schlager music group "Salonsteirer". Not only wine enthusiasts, but also hedonists and gourmets should not miss out on this exclusive event. The entrance fee of EUR 89.00 per person includes the whole wine offer and delicate ham and raw ham specialties of the luxury food partners.
A weekend under the sign of good tasteThe 4-star-hotel ARCOTEL Wimberger Vienna additionally offers an appropriate accommodation package: After arrival on 29th April the guest will bei welcomed with a three course dinner at the in-house restaurant WIMBERGERs wia z'Haus. Before attending the vintager ball on the next day, the guest will be visiting selected vineyards during the day, including a wine-academical tour and wine tasting.
