Culinary Art Festival 2011

Linz under the sign of art of cooking. Autria's most glamorous indulgence festival starts into the 4th season. The "hotspots" of Linz, a consolidation of almost 60 restaurateurs and hoteliers, are inviting to the gourmet spring at the danube yet again. Within the course of the Culinary Art Festival – under the patronage of once-in-a-century cook Prof. Dr. h.c. Eckart Witzigmann – 11 celebrity chefs will provide culinary fireworks for the sensual pleasures.

Artists among themselves
Exclusively at dasRESTAURANT of the ARCOTEL Nike Linz guests will have the chance on the 26th April to enjoy a six course gala dinner of above the title culinary star Martin Fauster. He will be supported by the vineyard Gerald Tschida, which is in charge of the corresponding and accompanying wines for each course.

Inventive cooking
Since 2004 38 years old Martin Fauster, a native of Styria, is chef de cuisine of the gourmet restaurant "Königshof" at the hotel Königshof in Munich. "A good, clear cuisine, the focus on the main product, witty and inventive cooked, without gimmicks", Martin Fauster describes his cooking style, which he implemented after years of travel at the "Königshof".
