This award for outstanding hospitality is given to businesses worldwide that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. Only the top 10% of all businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
With more than 200 million* visitors each month and more than 100 million reviews and opinions, the TripAdvisor websites make up the largest travel community in the world. The Certificate for Excellence is only given to establishments that maintain an overall rating of four out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. In addition, the business must have been registered on TripAdvisor for at least twelve months. The volume of reviews received within the last twelve months is also one of the criteria for the award.
