In order to add a touch of exclusivity to an event, the business suite at the 7th floor of ARCOTEL Wimberger Vienna is the perfect location for exclusive meetings and events in a special atmosphere. Notably highlights of this top-class business suite are the piano in the centre of the room, two bars and three terraces with a great view of Vienna. Additionally there are a 50'' flatscreen plasma TV, an espresso maker, WLAN internet access and air conditioning. In a nutshell, this is the perfect atmosphere to successfully host an event or to simply round off the day.

Colourful as life
The ARCOTEL Wimberger is of one of the first event locations in Vienna. Its programme offers various balls and events, like the Viennese Whisky Fair in March, the Tattoo Convention Vienna in November and the famous WIMBERGERs Jazzbrunch, which impresses every Sunday (except in July and August) with local stars of jazz, blues and swing. SOMA exhibition in Berlin: Carsten Höller enchants the capital with his new exhibition SOMA

Until 06.02.2011 works by the Belgian artist, entitled "Soma " will be issued at the Hamburger Bahnhof. How do we acquire knowledge and how does science and myth infuence us ? These questions are explored by the artist Carsten Höller in an unorthodox manner.

To understand the search for SOMA you just have to visit exhibition. Reindeers, toadstools, mice and other creatures are to be seen.

If you feel like it you can even stay at the museum. A floating platform rises right in the Hamburger Bahnhof and invites you to a night at the museum.

For EUR 1.000.00 you can stay there between art works by Andy Warhol, Joseph Beuys, Cy Twombly, Bruce Nauman and Carsten Höller, who also designed the room.

A sporting start to the year!

The ARCOTEL Rubin Hamburg is the official hotel partner to two of this year’s largest sporting events in Hamburg.

It all starts on 16th and 17th July 2011 with the Dextro Energy Triathlon in Hamburg. Swimming in the river Alster, cycling along the Elbchaussee, running beside the Alster – and ending at the famous finishing line at Hamburg’s Rathausmarkt.

Hamburg also plays host to Europe’s largest bicycle race, the Vattenfall Cyclassics, on 21st October 2011. The world’s top 18 cycle teams will be lining up to start in this, the only professional UCI World Tour race to be held in Germany. It will be preceded a Jedermannrennen, an open race for all amateur cyclists in which around 22,000 enthusiasts are expected to take part, watched by anything up to 800,000 excited spectators.

During this period the ARCOTEL Rubin Hamburg is making a special sporting offer to all triathletes, whether amateur or professional. In both competitions, and particularly the Vattenfall Cyclassics, the bicycle is the key piece of sports equipment. Sports fans will be anxious to have their highly technical pieces of equipment securely stored and close to them at all times. Therefore bicycles are permitted in guest rooms whilst the Vattenfall Cyclassics and the Dextro Energy Triathlon are on.

As an additional extra, during the period of the competitions we are offering our ARCOTEL breakfast buffet from 6.00 am onwards, loaded with extra carbohydrates (pasta) and lots of fresh fruit. Guests who plan to check out on the Sunday after each competition can also take advantage of our Late Check Out service, with guests only being required to leave by 5.00 pm instead of the usual noon.
