Stuttgart Christmas market

Everywhere throughout the city festive lights are sparkling , the air is filled with the scent of cinnamon, vanilla, fried sausage and mulled wine and Christmas music is in the air.
The festively illuminated city - dominated by the medieval old palace, the towers of the collegiate church and the baroque buildings of the new castle – creates the perfect setting for the Stuttgart Christmas market, which takes place from 24. November to 23. December 2010 in Baden-Württemberg's capital.

1692 first mentioned the decorated Christmas market between Schloss-, Schiller and market place has become a popular meeting place for visitors from all over Europe. All kinds of Christmas magic can be found at the Stuttgart Christmas market, which has not lost the character of a historic market even after over 300 years.

From Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the market is opened.

Enchanted Christmas at Gendarmenmarkt

The "Magic of Christmas Gendarmenmarkt" is one of the seasonal attractions in Berlin. For many visitors it is the most beautiful Christmas market in the city. Framed by the German and the French Cathedral as well as the Konzerthaus the Gendarmenmarkt offers the perfect Christmas motif.
For the eighth time the market is located at one of the most beautiful squares in Europe.
White illuminated tents and a high quality range of food and beverages turn the market into a very special experience. This market turns Christmas into a feast for the senses.
A daily mix of Christmas crafts, entertainment and music is offered.

Hotel bars weekend

After the successful action "Week of the restaurants", the organizers have started another action, "Hotel bars weekend". ARCOTEL Allegra Zagreb & Joe´s Bar were part of it.

In September was organized action "Week of the restaurant". The organizer´s goal was to show that prices in the hotel restaurants do not always necessarily have to be expensive. The organizers started last week another successful campaign and called it “Hotel bars weekend". This action has proven that compared to usual bars, hotel bars offer a higher quality standard.
This action involved five hotels of 4 & 5 star category in Zagreb. Promotional period was from Thursday, 18.11. until Sunday, 21.11.2010. During these four days we had the opportunity to try 44 different cocktails reduced up to 75%.
ARCOTEL Allegra, and Joe's Bar offered the appropriate program. In addition to live music we provided DJ Sessions for great entertainment.

European month of photography in Berlin

In autumn Berlin represents itself as a center of photography and is hosting the “European month of photography” for the 4th time. Until 28th November 2010 you can see more than 10.000 pictures of 500 international photographers representing "Modern Life, New images". 140 locations will be part of this citywide exhibition. Take this opportunity to see the city from a different angle.

The Berlin edition of the “European month of photography” takes stunning news from the world of the visual media as an opportunity to question the role of photography in the modernization of our world. The different projects focus on photographic items from an international point of view, capturing the metropolitan way of life throughout three centuries and offers a new perspective of the city and modern times.

Fifth anniversary of cooperation between Faculty of textile and technology and ARCOTEL Allegra

The cooperation between the project "Fashion closet," which is organized by the Faculty of textile and Technology, and the ARCOTEL Allegra has lasted for five years and the goal of both parties to put Zagreb on the world map of fashion destinations.

Fashion closet is a professional project team of young designers inspired by "Royal College of Arts”. This is the opprtunity for young designers to show their works. The jury, which is made of the already famous designes, announce the best ones. One of the organizer´s goals is to establish Zagreb as one of the fashion destinations on the world fashion map.
Under the slogan "Creative Business" ARCOTEL Allegra has since its opening supported young and creative people. This year all the members of the jury are again accommodated at ARCOTEL Allegra.
Many famous names in fashion and art have already worked with fashion closet, such as; Silvijo Vujicic, I gle, etc.

Berlin Music Days in Berlin

From 3rd to 6th November 2010 the international scene of electronic music will meet in Berlin in order to be part of the BerMuDa, the Berlin Music Days.

After the successful introduction of BerMuDa last year, this unique club festival of electronic music will attract clubbers, ravers, musicians, label makers and business people from the music scene around the world to Berlin. On Saturday and Sunday the techno and electro labels will present their artists in over 20 clubs. Part of the clubs are the Weekend, the Tesor and Cookies. The line-up reads like a who is who of the scene: Ellen Allien, veteran of the Berlin techno scene, Paul Kalkbrenner, well known from the music movie "Berlin Calling", techno legend Sven Väth and many more.
